Fill the water reservoir with water first. Then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, press the Brew/Off button and take the plug out of the wall outlet.

Before serving any beverages, secure the lid.
Scaling may occur if the lid is not removed during the brewing process.
This glass carafe can only be used with the coffeemaker. It should not be placed at the top of the range.
A hot carafe should not be placed on a cold or wet surface.
Use a cracking carafe or a carafe with a weak or loose handle.
Avoid using steel wool pads or cleansers on heating plates or carafes.
